Once In A Life Time Friends

This post is going to be a little bit different. I have been traveling on the way to camp up in Nashville Tennessee. When we got to Nashville yesterday we stopped to have dinner with my best friend from first grade. We were super close as kids and even when she moved we stayed in touch. Yesterday was the first time I had seen her in about four years. I really missed her. We laughed about old things like how I fell into the pond in her backyard one time and even new things like the faces we made in pictures. It was so much fun! In life it’s hard to find friends that you know so well that even though you’ve been apart for years you can hangout and go right back into life together as if nothing changed. I call them once in a life time friends. The idea is that even though you’re apart and life goes on you’ll know this person will always be there for you. Honestly some of my favorite memories are with this girl. I am so happy I got to spend the small amount of time I did with her and I know that even though we don’t see each other that often, we will continue to be friends for years to come. God gives you people at just a the right time, make sure you hold onto the people you love, and who love you back because they are the ones worth keeping in your life.
