Stop Wasting Time
I’m sure you’ve noticed but we as humans seem to waist time a lot. The easiest example is social media. We can spend hours on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest and Tumbler. Teenagers are especially bad about this, but adults do it too. Now I’m not saying social media it’s self is bad. I am also not saying that these platforms are a waist of time on their own. Social media is a great way to keep in contact with people you don’t normally get to see in person like with my speech and debate friends who all live in different cities. But it can also be a big distraction when you are trying to work, to the point of waisting your time while on it. Of course there are other ways to waist time. But here is the thing what is the point? What is the point in waisting time? What good does it do you? It’s the same for watching tv too. Think about it, what are you putting into your head? Is it a moral or outcome you want to have happen in your life? Because if the answer is no then it’s time to stop waisting your time. Find something productive to do when you are bored. By no means am I saying you have to work all the time you are a wake. Of course not that’s crazy. Give yourself time to rest if you,ve been working really hard. Take sometime for yourself as chill time. But don’t be lazy. Stop waisting time when you should be working. If you’ve got something to do don’t open up your Facebook app. Stop waiting for someone else to change your life for you. Start creating value yourself. Because today will be gone before you know it. If you had to give a report of your day to someone would you have anything to show them from today? Because “I’ll do it tomorrow” is an excuse that means you don’t really want change, since more often then not tomorrow never comes.
