Cabin Fever

Cabin Fever

I got back from camp almost two weeks ago now and I think I’m going crazy. Well, crazier than I already am. The thing about camp is everyone is super chill, we spend all day working together, then you get to hangout when you’re off. You see people and have fun everyday. It’s great! I have been homeschooled my entire life, so I’ve never really hung out with people everyday before. I love how easy it was, all I had to do was hop onto a golf cart and drive to the staff house to hang out with my favorite person. But being home it’s a lot harder. It doesn’t help that hurricane Harvey basically put me on house arrest for a good four days. I have a bad case of cabin fever. I want to go do something! I’m already, ready for the next adventure! The mundane bores me to death. Doing the exact same thing every single day makes me want to scream. I love challenges, things that require thought. Puzzles of all kinds intrigue me. Creating new and exciting things is one of my favorite things in life. Cabin fever is awful, all it makes me want to do is escape. But things are picking up, I’m thankful for this time of rest, but I’m also glad it won’t last forever.
