30 Days of Blogging Introduction
Welcome! My name is Tori Peter’s. I am an entrepreneur, artist and the author of the book The Power of Words For Teens!
Imagine for 30 days you take a challenge to sit down and take just a small chunk of your day to create a blog post. Maybe you’re a writer trying to build up your skills, a business professional trying to start a digital foot print as a resource for others or maybe you just have a hobby you really enjoy and want to share with the world. Imagine the feeling of joy, relief and the confidence boost you feel after successfully completing your challenge! Today I’ll be sharing with you the benefits of 30 day challenges and why you should do them.
For the next 30 Days I will be writing and posting blog posts about topics like inspiration, motivation and things I learn in my daily life that I believe could be valuable to others!
I’m excited to see where this challenge takes me. In the past I successfully completed a 30 day blogging challenge about a year and a half ago. Not only did I complete it but I actually went above and beyond and extended it to 60 days, double the original goal I had set! (If you want to read about that go check out my projects page or click here.)
There are a lot of benefits to doing 30 day challenges. Here are 3.
- It creates a habit. If you do something for 30 days it is much easier for it to become second nature.
- It builds consistency. If you are not used to being consistent this is a great way to teach yourself how to be more consistent! While we’re on the subject if you can keep it up it signals that you are consistent when it comes to projects.
- You become better. No matter what kind of 30 day challenge you take. If it’s a drawing, writing, music, prospecting, whatever! Because you do it every single day you will get better especially if you are actively trying to improve!
30 day challenges are perfect if you want to try something new but aren’t sure if you’re going to love it. This is because when you commit to doing something for 30 days you give yourself enough time to build that skill and see improvement but if you don’t end up liking it as much as you thought you would at the beginning that’s okay too, it was only for 30 days.
If you are thinking about doing a 30 day challenge I honestly would encourage you to try it! Give it all you have! It takes commitment and sometimes a little bit less sleep at night but the return on your time investment will be well worth it from the confidence boost you’ll get when you complete it!
Even if you don’t have a 30 day challenge in mind for the moment I would be thrilled if you joined me on this adventure! Place your email in the subscribe box so you never miss any of my upcoming posts!
