Challenges I Had With My Praxis Video Project Month 2
I faced many challenges over this month. I’m going to go a bit more in-depth on the issues I was having editing my videos for a few minutes. One of the biggest problems I had been facing was that I was stuck using a very bad editor. It crashed randomly. Clips would mysteriously stop working and the thing took forever to load anything. Plus, I couldn’t add in basic editing effects I wanted to make my videos better. So, in order to fix this problem, I was able to get a new editor and learn how to use it in the span of a day so that I could edit videos faster, create higher quality content and not have as many hiccups in my workflow because of technical issues.

Another thing that I have had to work around is the many road trips I have been making to and from my old hometown. This meant that some days I had to be enough ahead that I could still be on time even if I was away from my computer for days at a time. The way I made sure I didn’t get behind during those days was to make the number of videos I needed a day or two before I left town and publish them from my phone each day.
The last challenge came along with the last one. I didn’t have a lot of my art supplies moved at the beginning of the month so I had to be a bit extra creative with what I could find and the limits of those finds until I could return for the supplies I really wanted to use.
Overall I knew a bit of what to expect when it came to videos so most of my hiccups came from just not having the right tools. But I never let challenges keep me from reaching for hard goals.
